We will retreat to Camp Hebron in Halifax, PA for a weekend away from April 17-19, 2020. Men, mark this date on your calendar for time away together in God's creation!

Retreat Program

Today's Christian community is desperately searching for Christian men of authenticity and influence.  Like most Christian men, I too have desired to be influential: to affect positive, and  spiritually life-altering change within those around me.  In a culture where popularity, charisma, and a large social media following are the measure of one's influence, we have come to realize that these do not necessarily equate to an authentic Christian influence.  This study through the Bible will highlight men of particularly authentic influence and will give today's Christian man the tools, courage, and desire to be a man of authentic Christian influence.  Our families, our churches, our workplaces, our nation, and our world need Christian men who are committed to being authentic and influential.  I pray that this study encourages you to be the man of influence God intended you to be.

Speaker - Brian Ferree

Pastor Brian Ferree is a gifted preacher and passionate Bible teacher with 30 years of ministry experience in traditional church settings, church planting and para-church ministries. His ministry experiences have afforded him the opportunity to live and serve in Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Dakota. Brian has ministered to a wide variety of people including inner-city children, teens and families, young married couples, military families, oil field workers, mid-west farmers, and he has been involved in prison ministries as well.

Brian accepted Christ as his savior at the age of fifteen and within a few years was serving in the bus ministry at his home church. His bus ministry and teaching experiences focused on children and teens from York’s inner-city. It was from this experience that he received the call to full-time ministry.

Brian most recently served as the pastor of Heritage Baptist Church in Minot, North Dakota. Located near Minot Air Force Base, the Bakken oil fields, and situated in the heart of the rural farmland of North Dakota, he had the unique opportunity to pastor many who were displaced from their home churches. As a result, Heritage became their church home away from home.

Pastor Brian Ferree holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Pastoral theology from Trinity Baptist College and is currently studying for his Masters's degree. He is passionate about evangelism and discipleship and has been instrumental in disciplining and mentoring hundreds of Christians in their spiritual walk. Brian’s desire has always been to clearly articulate the foundational truths of Scripture so that Christians are grounded in truth. Brian is currently teaching a weekly Bible study and discipleship class in York’s inner-city.

Brian is a proud father of three amazing children. He also has a wonderful daughter-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time in the outdoors, motorcycle rides, DIY projects and working out. He is always looking for an adventure!
