Retreat Program

On God's Team: Four Amazing Parts to the Adventure

A coach is someone who drives us to do things far beyond our abilities can take us, with the goal of accomplishing things we only ever dreamed of. At the retreat, we're going to explore the amazing ways Jesus transforms us, and how having Him as the coach of our lives leads us to accomplish things only He could orchestrate. He chose us, so why wouldn't we choose Him to lead our lives?

Speaker - Jack Dyson

Life is an adventure – you live yours or you watch others live theirs. Jack's adventure has taken some interesting turns; things like falling in a sewer in India, visiting all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums along with 13 other guys, training God’s people in Europe and Asia, going to Malaysia to golf on a missions trip, and walking the D-Day beaches of Normandy. Jack was drawn to Christ when he discovered that Jesus died for him so he could have a relationship with Him. He has since been growing into that awesome intimacy, and has had the privilege of fostering that adventure and intimacy
for others since. Because he found Jesus to be an incredibly safe leader, he has been encouraged and challenged to live an unsafe life.

Jack has been in ministry for over 33 years. Besides baseball, he enjoys soccer and photography. He has been married to his wife, Gladys, for 38 years, and has two married adult children and two grandkids.
